Digital Retouching and Restoration
Michigan Photo Company offers full retouching and restoration services. All of our basic retouching is done in house, eliminating lengthy turn around times. We also offer additional retouching services such as whitening eyes and teeth, toning down shine, glass glare, braces removal, and fixing background flaws. These servies are available as add ons to basic retouch. Restorations are priced by quote only and generally take 14 business days to complete. We suggest you have your order archived to a CD when having any artwork done. This eliminates paying for services again on reorders.

Hot Foil Stamping
Michigan Photo now offers the option of 9 different colors for hot foil stamping! This is a great sell for seniors who can now have their school colors incorporated into their pictures, or coordinate with a favorite outfit. We offer the traditional gold and silver, but have added: blue, purple, pink, red, green, teal, and copper. Script (Park Avenue) and Block (Arial) fonts are available to choose from. Studio Slugs may also choose from any of the 9 color options.

Digital Names are available through ROES only. There is a wide variety of colors and fonts available in the drop down options tab. Text can be straight or angled at an either 10 or 20 degree tilt. Digital Names are available at no additional charge.

Bevel Mounting
Bevel Mounting is here! What a great alternative to framing pictures. These mounts give the perfect finish for desk prints and are less expensive than traditional frames. Prints from 4x5 through 20x24 can be bevel mounted in gold, silver, or black. Each mount comes with a self standing easel.

Board Mount
Michigan Photo offers several different types of board mounting, depending on the size print you have ordered. We offer double and triple weight board, foamcore, and masonite. Mounting is only available on prints that were made in our lab.

Canvas Mount
Our Canvas mounts are done with a traditional strip method. The print is stripped and high pressure and heat is used to do the mounting. Stripping prints can sometimes cause damage. Therefore, we will only mount prints made in our lab. Hand Brushed lacquer is also available as an add on to canvas mounts.

Lacquer Coating
Michigan Photo features an environmentally safe, water based lacquer on prints 16x20 and smaller. This lacquer is applied with roller coat technology. Prints over 16x20 in size are hand sprayed. Lacquer coating/spraying is available in Semi-Gloss only.
