In this class you will learn basic lighting setups including:  2 light and 3 light setups, flat lighting, soft box use, and single source lighting.  We will also cover how to meter your lights without a meter and how to color balance your lights without a color meter.  This will be a hands on course using Alien Bees lighting equipment.  Outdoor lighting will be discussed and demonstrated if weather permits.

Michigan Photo's online Storybooks feature the ROES program with more options than you can even imagine.  Storybooks are the new trend in digital scrapbooking.  They offer all of the options for digital books and are much less time consuming and expensive.  For first time users we recommend spending at least 2 hours placing your first order.  There are countless options and features in ROES that should be explored to ensure you are creating exactly what you want.   Computer workstations will be provided for each student, along with one on one training and assistance.  If you need more time to complete your order, or have additional pages you wish to order, you may store your order to finish in the future.  Please bring a disk with several images!

In this classs you will learn the advanced elements of ROES including designing your own templates and learning to use packagizer.  This course is for those who are already familiar with the basics of ROES as basics will not be reviewed.
Basic Marketing Trends and Ideas . .  $ 80.00 per student     Limit 12 students per class
In this class you will learn basic posing of high school seniors, young children, large families (6 or more), and weddings (includes an overview of lighting the church).  You will also learn the secrets of taking off weight, eliminating Glass Glare, and getting children to do what you want them to do!  To ensure everything is covered, and all your questions are answered via demonstration.
Get to know your camera!  Gary will help you gain a better understanding of how your camera works and answer all of your "What's that for?" questions.  Topics include reviewing your menu, exposure and aperature settings, flash selection, lens selection, compositions and the Thirds Rule, and connecting your camera with your computer.  Class limited to SLR owners only.  One-on-One/Small Group setting.

To reserve a space in our classes, call Christina in customer service at 1-800-443-0755.  Please have your credit card information available as classes MUST be paid for in advance.  If you fail to show up for a class you have already reserved, your money will not be refunded.  Classes will be cancelled if they are not half full 1 week prior to the scheduled date.  If a class is cancelled,  you may re-schedule, or opt for a full refund.  If you become unable to attend a class, you must notify us via e-mail,  1 week before the scheduled class to receive a full refund.
